cool: what's with all the snow around the spawn?

less cool: having to use default textures while waiting for packs to update :(

(normally not a major problem, only on this occasion the grass block side texture is totally fucked. that's a major problem :tard: )

Well the change to ladders is kinda nice for getting onto them, but means you can't get up on top of sloped-roofing with ladders anymore, as there's nothing to stand on at the top of the ladder.

That's not an issue with the texture pack. It just means you have to use MCPatcher. Every update.

turned out i didn't have the latest mcpatcher

annoyingly, the void fog fix hasn't been updated; neither has optifine, which i'll be getting as soon as it's updated for 1.1 (it has a load of graphics and general performance improvements - including.... mipmapping  )

^ cool

gonna wait for optifine 1.1 though, which includes this and requires an unmodded jar at installation

maybe in 1.2 jeb will realise people hate this shit and get rid of it

it's an academic thing as it happens: he turned them down to go on working on his own gay zelda acid trip kool aid eye-rapist of a game

optifine 1.1 is the shiznit with soartex. default still looks like baboon vomit mixed with walrus feces though

also, cool lighthouse

yeah, jungles. jungles with no jungle creatures or jungle ambient sounds to bring them to life

so far jeb's additions have been pretty decent (except for the ladder collision box fiasco) but seriously: when are they going to get around to filling in such gaping game holes as the lifelessness of the environments?

sometimes i think it might turn out better if mojang just stopped updating the game and left adding new features to the modders...

My hopes aren't high. Indeed the smartest thing they could do is create a very robust API and let the community do the rest. Bridging server and client mods (letting the client download any client-side mods seamlessly through the server) would be ideal.

Started work on gravel/stone slab speed mod for the server.

Oddly, I have it working for all NPCs but the player runs normally. Working on figuring out what that's all about.

I was on there a few minutes ago, that lighthouse is impressive.

As always I stand in awe of your creations, you all seem much better suited at level design then I am :p

The matter is agreed.

BTW we need more rando structures in the middle of town. I've got about 5 residences now. Need some shops and a forge.

Added some dungeons. See spawn board for details.

Been meaning to ad a shop but the mod I installed bork a while ago... haven't troubleshooted it yet.

I enabled citizen commands. For tutorial on how it works go here:

http://citizens.wikia.com/wiki/Citizens_Wiki

They cost $100/each. You can raise money by killing things in the dungeons.
