How's everyone doing on this? I'm up to level 29. Unbelievably for me it hasn't lost it's luster. I'm doing a battle Mage, so it stays pretty interesting combining spells and weapons with heavy armor. Anyone else still goin at it?

I couldn't get the swing of a battle mage. The classic warrior route has worked well so far, but I made the mistake of maxing out Smithing early on, which made things a bit challenging for a while there. Then I made legendary ebony armor and now I'm nearly unkillable. Next step is daedric shit. Once I'm fully decked out, I have a feeling I'll either make a new character or just up the difficulty.

being that i always choose the grunt option in games like these, I opted to be a full on Gandalf on this game just for the hell of it. I'm level 39. It's pretty cool, I hardly ever get involved into fights up close and personal, as I have my conjurations do my dirty work, or I simply bombard the shit out of everything with expert level fireball destruction. But I did kinda missed out on the 'in your face' fighting, which seems pretty awesome. Anyway, my magica is something like 400 while health and stamina is pretty much unchanged from what they start you off with, and oh boy do I have to keep my distance! It does seem that I am a little bit burned out on it, so i don't spend as much time on it as I used to, but I do still enjoy it since there is a story to be followed.

But yeah overall , nothing really seems like a challenge anymore at this level.

Sounds like it's time to go at war with the cities.

Even at level 10 things werent much of a challenge. I'm sure it's the same on the consoles but on the PC version I just give the AI an aneurysm by jumping off ledges then either jumping on to a rock they can't get at, or jumping over a barrel.

I can usually get the NPCs pacing back and forth in a spot as I shoot them with arrows from on top of a rock. Easy. Even glitched out the first damn dragon so it just hung out on the ground spewing fire at... nothing as I launched arrows at it from a tower.

^Funny, I played the game since launch on PC and didn't run into any of those bugs. People must have really shitty computers.

Yeah, I haven't seen any of those bugs, either. Just the low-res textures, which I modded.

Only issue I ever has with Skyrim was a fuckload of CTDs, mainly because of the retarded 2gb RAM limit. After I modded that, it was fine. Thankfully since the latest patch, they finally upped it to 4gb anyway. For such a massive, massive game, it felt quite polished to me. Far more than FO:NV.

I never encountered any bugs either, ever.
people talking about teleporting and backwards flying dragons, npcs morphing through the ground and woodcutters working without an axe.

then again, give an unlimited amount of players unlimited amount of play time and you'll get an unlimited amount of glitches :)

Actually had a glitch today, first time. Whilst strutting through the woods, a giant dragon's skeleton plummeted out of the sky landing in front of me. Not a soul around, I stood there confused. Then I continued my journey

Once, I was clearing out a cave, and had just killed like 3 vampires. on my way through a small hallway, i stepped over one of the bodies, and out of nowhere some voice calls out "hey watch it!" I didn't have a follower just then mind you (she died a few quests ago).

Creepiest bug ever!

That would be fuckin badass. Either use a magelight or a torch. Only light up areas with torches and allow them to be extinguished. Creepy as hell...

I had a similar glitch. Was on my horse sprinting down a road when this random bandit corpse comes flying from nowhere off to the side and smacks right in to me.

I was killing two giants and two mammoths, (wasn't a quest from what I remember), and each time I reloaded the save game and was facing them from a distance, one of the mammoths always dropped out of the sky landing on all four feet.

It's true. I'm at 85 hours and it feels like I still haven't even scratched the surface. The main quest is lost in a long line of quests...

For those of you that wear armor, what's your armor rating up to? Mine is about 730. I'm thinking that's about as high as I can get it. I'm wearing dwarven armor and it's fully improved. I might be able to improve it a little more once I get my enchantment skill to 100 and I can create a ring and amulet to fortify smithing...

Armor effectiveness caps at about 560 according to the Skyrim wiki. Everything after that is a waste. But 700+ is nuts for just dwarven armor, even with Smithing at 100. What enchantments are on the armor?

My vanilla daedric suit gives me around 550-600 when I craft it myself (shield included).
