I'll just leave this quote from the article here

"These turtles are from an alien race and they are going to be tough, edgy, funny and completely lovable."

If they're aliens they're not mutants, their mutation is what made them like that...

I'm officially calling Michael Bay a retard now.

If you waited this long, then I officially call you a retard now...but the whole forum has been doing that since day one...so nothing really changes.

I thought he was just a capitalist scumbag, kind of like that character called Berk in Aliens.

Sure I thought he was probably retarded (Bay, not Berk), but I give people the benifit of the doubt. When someone makes as much money as he does you wonder whether they could be retarded. That's not me being retarded (I'm not), it's called being open-minded.

Edit: And for the record, they haven't "been doing that since day one"... it's a recent phenonemon amongst the loudest, angsty, current regulars on the forum. (AKA cunts, in your words.)

Serious question: Do you think Michael Bay is oblivious to all the hatred and resistance toward his films? The guy MUST be aware of the boycotts. Is he dumb and ignorant of the outrage? I guess he's just money hungry...

I guess as long as his films continue to make hundreds of millions of dollars, he's got a pretty good argument...

Of course he's going to say that. Hell, he probably believes it. Doesn't mean he's not retarded.

That response makes me think it's going to be even worse than I originally thought. Not that it matters, really. I wasn't going to see a new TMNT movie one way or the other.

This. Not really surprising, is it?
But I have no reason to complain about it as long as Uwe Boll continues to make movies.

It's an age thing. Scared? is so old that when TMNT was new he would have been out of its age range. I liked the cartoon a lot but I got the impression that even younger viewers than I was were massive fans of it. It would only be if you were too old for the cartoon that you were wrong to like it. Like, it was not meant for "teenagers", duh. It was awesome that they made that arcade game of it. I used to play that but I didn't want any toys, too old for toys.

Watched the originals when I was about 12.
Didn't think they were particularly entertaining then. Just filler between Transformers and Inspector Gadget.
Really, one of the franchises I don't give a shit about if hollywood puts it over a barrel and rapes it.

I think if you're butthurt about his, there are other, more serious pressing mental issues to worry about.

I only had Donatello, Foot Soldier and Slash (not the Guns 'N Roses guitar player, the TMNT character) action figures.
