At those prices I can't imagine it not exploding across the country. But will the big dogs try to block them?

Virgin's okay when it's working, but their support team are a shower of bastards, and you share your bandwidth with those around you; I got a free upgrade to 100Mbps from my 50Mbps service, and this is my score tonight:
Image

Good, but not 100Mbps.
After peak time, it gets a lot better, but I'm still pissed off that my bandwidth is so dramatically affected by others in my building.

Ping's nice though :)

Nice ToxicBug and your upload speed is amazing too.

I'm happy with my 60Mb/s connection but the upload speeds here are a joke. It should at least double though when they get around to it.

That's amazing! You live in the Netherlands, right? Stuck in the stone age here LOL, oh well.

BTW, how much do you transfer per month, if it's not a secret?

I got the free 50mbit upgrade

I wish we had a better upload. I'd be happier with a 25/25mbit split so i can stream from my home NAS.

Agreed about Virgin's support, it's awful. Our anyroom box lost all its settings, no HD or recording. I must have been on the phone talking for almost an hour before it was resolved

oh I have 20mbps for 20 euros still.. I never upgraded after I got that deal (which was a deal back then). good thing my boss compensates it fully so basically its 20mbps for free.
but i was looking at an hdtv subscription so I figured I might as well upgrade the rest while I'm at it. stumbled upon this dealio.
not sure if I'll upgrade to such though, I won't be needing 500 both ways for a while.

my monthly bandwith is on the low side, about 8 gigs I think, I only use it for the internetsbrowsing and gaming. my days of running servers are over :)

Honestly, I don't need more than this.

That is, for the purposes I use internet for right now.
Mebbe in the future streaming 552960p 3d content will become a thing I just can't live without.

$80 a month capped at 150 GB...and they nickel and dime you after that.

North American internet sucks ass compared to Europe's. It's also an excellent example of different markets allowing different levels of rape corporations do to their customers.

I still have 8 down and 1 up. Doesn't bother me as I never felt I needed faster.
