Pay Pat Robertson to found his own Jesusfreak party, then accuse the republican party of moral bankrupcy and hypocracy in the face of the Lord.

Robertson will be game, he's been waiting for so long he'll jump at any half assed oppertunity to become more important - and the republican party will be split in half.

Jesus christ it's a wonderful plan. The democrats could run Hillary and still stand a chance.

Keyes isn't really a hypocrite like Cheney, because he still believes that homosexuality is the devil's work. He's just a cunt because he'll denounce his own daughter because her beliefs are different. Both are good reasons for these people to not be in charge of the government.

lol...10 years ago republicans were about less govt...now they are more obtrusive then any party since lincoln was president...which btw, was one of the worst presidents we ever had...

Yea, you're right about that.

But hypocrite is still a word I associate with republican politicians these days. It seems that every initiative they propose or support, is one that they would never espouse if they were in different positions - or sometimes even if they were still in their positions, wouldn't support it on a personal level, but only in the politicial arena.

For instance, I wonder if anyone ever asked George Bush whether he and Laura ever used condoms or birth control? :icon26:


edit: And I'm not sure if you would call this hypocritical, or just plain lying by omission, but Alan Keyes said in an interview something to the effect of "If my daughter were a lesbian, I would tell her it was a sin she should be repentantl for, and shun her." This was before the story was public, but he had already known that his daughter was a lesbian since she was in high school.

He is promoting a ridiculous, religious agenda as government policy, which he should know to be false from personal experience. He's willfully ignorant, and a complete idiot, and shouldn't have any position of power.

Unfortunately, a lot of people replace common sense with bible scriptures so they don't have to consider things in a rational and caring manner, so idiots like this have popular support.

Why can't we just make them go found their own country based on the bible, instead of having them declare that the founding fathers were idiots and trying to rewrite ours?

Yea, it's been speculated that might have pulled some sort of blackmail (ala the New Jersey governor), and was allowed in to shut him up.
Some people have claimed they've seen Scott McClellan in gay bars in Texas. McClellan was working as Aide to the Press Secretary when this guy was let in.
