Do you guys know much about quicktime? When I stream a video that uses it, such as all the videos at drummerworld as my example, the sound is not synced properly with the image, it's out by a few milliseconds. So if I watch a drum being struck, the sound comes fractionally before I see it happening. I downloaded one of these vids to test it when not streaming, and very similar result. When I played the same video with nero showtime, it was perfectly synced.

Is this a known issue with quicktime or is there something I can do? The quicktime version I have is 7.6.2.

Thing is ax, I want to be able to directly stream videos from certain sites that stream in quicktime rather than download, just need to see if there's a fix that puts it in sync. I tried with FF, chrome and IE, same for all of them, out of sync.

Sounds like a bad codec setting. What audio codecs do you have installed?

Well I've got XP codec pack and inside is a little program called sherlock which showed me all these. I don't know if these are all the codecs on my pc, but I suspect so.
