Hello, I've messed up a second DL disk now :(

I'm trying to burn an 7.94gig file onto a DL disk. Both times it failed at 51%. My disks are Memorex DVD+R DL. I don't have any other apps running when I'm burning a disk.

here's the Nero log, if that's any help

Now I've made another coaster from trying to burn an 4.4gig .mkv onto a single layer DVD, I'm suspecting that my burner might be taking a shit.

have you tried other apps like Cd burner Xp Pro ( freeware ) or Imgburn ( also freeware ) and see if its the app?

i've had it where nero didn't get along with my burner ( the same model ) when i was trying to burn dual layers..

have you tried other apps like Cd burner Xp Pro ( freeware ) or Imgburn ( also freeware ) and see if its the app?

i've had it where nero didn't get along with my burner ( the same model ) when i was trying to burn dual layers..

would recommend either of those (and have used imgburn for 360 backups).
