i5-2500k £157 from ebay (with 3yr warranty)
Asrock Z68 Extreme4 Gen3 Intel Z68 £137 from amazon
Akasa Venom Voodoo CPU Cooler £44 from dabs
Corsair 16GB 1600MHz CL9 DDR3 £88 from amazon
arctic silver £5

£431

not too fussed about a graphics card atm, i'll see how BF3 runs on my old 8800GT, if it's shit i'll upgrade next month.

My main question is about the RAM, this is mainly a rig to run zBrush with minimum stutter but obviously I'll game on top of that - apparently zBrush is a hog for RAM so I thought i'd go for 16GB, however would money be better spent on less GB with a lower latency or does it not really make that much difference anymore?

cheers for your input <3
