I have a small (4px) dark spot under the screen on my macbook pro. I have no idea how it got there and i've not dropped the book or hit it.
what ya think, warranty job? not sure i'm keen to give it back to apple so soon after having it :/

it's not a dead pixel, it's a mark behind the first layer in the display. the pixels behind are working.

change it now, rather than put up with it - you wouldnt have posted here unless it bothered you, so yeah get it sorted.
