Some of you may be aware that the Q4F project came to a stop and an Alpha version was released along with the source code. A dedicated "Team Fortress" gamer (avirox) who has worked with modding since the beginning is wanting to make this project a reality. Here are some of his projects.............

It's currently in development (especially for 1.4.2) Codename RoX: A stand-alone game based on the Darkplaces engine which combines elements of FPS and RTS games with base-building and unit construction etc.
TFX is a dedicated site to "Team Fortress" games and open source modding is a great experience!

Testing for the Q4FX project has begun and the reviews from the players are outstanding! The latest Q4 1.4.2 patch has made Quake 4 multi-player issues a thing of the past and so far there are no game hindering bugs with Q4FX. We have one server up located in the USA, but most of our players seem to be Euro players. Still no major complaints.
