If the game starts with "The way it's meant to be played" you'll know why. I've got a 9600XT as well and wondered the same thing. I can only assume it'll be driver *cough*developer*cough* support.teriba wrote:Why does it say ATI 9700 and GF3? A 9700 is WAY better than a GF3.
I guess I gotta replace my 9600XT.
How does mine measure up?
I've got a GeForce Go 6800. I'm so out of touch with hardware I have no idea how that measures up to desktop cards. It runs HL2 okay...
Those are. That list actually comes from the quake4game.com site (under game info, at the bottom of the entire text). The odd thing is that in the list of supported videocards they indeed do list the Radeon 9700 and GeForce 3 as slowest cards from ATI and nVidia respectively.dzjepp wrote:Those ain't the minimum requirements dumbo...
which is why I believe it to be a typo, because a Geforce3 is not even in the same league as a Radeon 9700.Eraser wrote:Those are. Doesn't it seem strange that an X300 makes the list and not a 9600? How can you even compare a GF3 and a 9600?o'dium wrote:I.e. Your pissed off that your card doesn't make the grade anymore.teriba wrote:How does that seem right to you? It sounds like a retarded 3 year old wrote the video card reqs.
If I'm pissed off at anything it's how you can even spell you're.
