Hmm, Doom's 10th was in 2003. The Tomb Raider franchise turns 10 this year and they're celebrating with yet another game.

just saw this topic this morning and fired open Quake to give it a blast for old times sake. finished it in about an hour and a half, what an easy game!!! sooooo good tho, if i could choose what to come back as in my next life it'd be a Shambler, hands down...

Why would you want to finish it that fast? You must be a baddie jumping, shortcut taking homo. Experience the atmosphere and play it on nightmare and spend some time actually fighting.

lol maybe he already did? I think speed run on nightmare was done in about 30 minutes... Can only be done by those who have played it countless times.

My point is why? Yeah I can do quick runs through it too. So what? Jeesus, the point in playing a game is to enjoy it, not complete it as fast as possible. I like to immerse myself in it and get every bit of enjoyment out of it as possible.

I agree with you. I never played an SP game twice, but those who played it multiple times need another challenge, after playing it on nightmare settings. That's when time comes in I guess.
