I only watched the first 2 episodes this year.

I enjoy a good action or interrogation scence as much as the next guy, but for some reason another season of a storyline driven by 'who'se the mole?' and Chloe's weird faces as she sits behind her computer scowling at people and the constant situation Jack always finds himself in of having to save the world but having to break a law or ignore CTI orders or CTI still doubting Jack about a decision he is encouraging them to make even though he has saved their ass time and time again...
To be fair, pretty much every series on TV works in a predictable manner as well - but I tend to feel more irritation than enjoyment when I watch 24 for some reason. Wasn't like that 2 seasons ago for me. Another example of a predictable show on Fox is House...I like Hugh Laurie's character, but every single episode ends with House making the right diagnosis, yet the beginning and middle of every episode involves all the other doctors telling House his diagnosis is wrong and he is crazy and he will kill the patient. You'd think they'd have learned by now. But that's the magic of TV and what keeps us coming back for more.

Eh, this season was a rehash of a lot of stuff from past season's. It was fun to watch, but overall was not very good.

next season a bunch of islamist terrorists will provoke a war between the US and china with anthrax warheads which chloe will make safe by menstruating all over while jack bauer wrestles bin laden naked in a vat full of cooking oil

either that it it'll involve aliens. or possibly god

America needs a hero! America needs Jack Bauer!

It's such a sad fucking thing to see when half of 300 million idiots think a Canadian can lead the way to American salvation.

This was BY FAR the absolute worst season of 24 yet. Actually I'm going to go ahead and say that 24 was one of the worst television series on TV this season. It pains me to say it because the show is one of my favs but what a complete shit-fest it was this season.

Apparently 24 hasn't come to an end, since they're making a movie. But wtf, a 24 hour long movie?

yeah, it's gonna be 24 hours long, with a global setting rather than just in LA, and tickets will cost $50 each, which is a pretty good price considering i'm just making this up
