No, as you can see from the pencil and the shooped one there's nothing on the billboard. I figured I was going to do something fancy but ultimately I did nothing and left it blank. When it came time to add something with sumopaint I just drew that on there (it's supposed to say wow) but obviously the whole billboard isn't visible
I also like my pencil's better than what I do in the photoeditor which is why I want to learn how to use the software better. I know the basics but I'm far from knowledgeable on how to use them so I'm just kinda playing around with different web based software while I'm at work. It's extremely slow on the weekends
Looks good. You should draw them in Vector format, such as with Illustrator or Inkscape (free) it allows you to resize them to whatever resolution you want (i.e. canvas) without losing quality.
Yeah oddly the method I use to paint with sumopaint is pretty much exactly the same technique I'd use if I was making a vector paint. Reason I use sumopaint is cause it's web based and I do this cause I get bored at work. can't really install anything unfortunately and I'm still too broke ass to get a pc.
[quote="brisk"]I haven't drawn for years. Last thing I did was this, because a friend wanted a sketch of her rat drawn (lol)
That's not bad actualy, drawing animals is hard as hell I find, I can't say I draw them very often
I can do real life images in pencil if I put my mind to it but I typically stick with comic book style art. I have on and off periods, like I won't draw for years at a time then all of a sudden I'll pickup a pencil and start putting out a dozen or so sketches then I drop it again for a few years...

I can't draw but I do quite a bit of Photoshop/Illustrator work, the pen tool is great.
Yeah I would LOVE to have a pen tool instead of a mouse... I seen a guy draw a dragon on youtube using one and it's just amazing the stuff you can do with it.
See that's EXACTLY what I'm trying to learn, how to do those subtle tones and shading using a photoeditor. I have a rough idea of how to do it but it's kinda tough.
