Hey everyone, I joined here soooo many years ago and haven't been too active in the forum community, but I wanted to pop in and show off our community Quake project we've been working on for 3 years and that we put out a new clip today.

Our website is http://www.quake-rebellion.com. We're pretty active over in the quakelive forum at least.

Anywho, I got this site bookmarked here at the office now so I can keep up with the real Q3 peeps from now on. The new short is called Broken Bridge, and you can check it out here

We released Broken Bridge with the old graphics due to time restraint. Wait until you guys see what Season 2 is shaping up to be visually! Thanks for keeping tabs on the project!

Excellent.
Good job on the facial modelling, too.
This youtube still of Sarge almost escapes the old uncanny valley.
This project is just a great homage to the game :up:

I liked the way you did the rocket-jump.

Can you not tilt the camera please, that annoys me :mad:

Why is the water splash green? :offended:

Why did you give Sarge scars on his face? Try to stay true to the characters, please. If you use too much artistic licence you disrepect fans of the original material.

Overall, it was pretty good, though spoiled mostly by the camera tilting, like I already said. You need to get the weapon effects to look better, you had the plasma for example looking worse than it does in the game. I thought the whole point was things were supposed to look better? Heck the plasma looks better in Doom even :offended:

Hey guys, I put up the new preview of our comedy show coming up in June that revolves around Quake. Check it out :)
