The Lincoln Lawyer 7/10
I didn't have high expectations for this movie, as much as I like Matthew Machaunacchgegey. But, despite the fact that aspects of the movie are predictable, it's fairly well done, albeit with a very Grisham-derivative feel. Ryan Phillipenis could have been a bit more believable and William H. Macy was under-utilized. You know that there's a twist coming, the setup is a bit ham-handed, but it's still a small surprise.

The secondary plot twist is also not that shocking, glad I rented this one. I think the bikers were the best part of the movie. I like the way they solve problems and the way they make appointments with Macahunaugaguueuyy's character. :olo:

Conan (2011) - 6/10 I thought it was a good adaptation of Howard's book character. Its definitely not Shakespearean in its plot and it doesn't have riveting acting or dialogue but its a fun swords and sorcery movie nonetheless. IMO Mamoa is a better Conan than Arnie ever was. He's grittier, moves quickly rather than at his predecessors slow pace (Conan was always described as cat-quick), and is much closer to what the books describe as a ruthless warrior/rogue. Its far from perfect but its still a fun watch and will hopefully be the start of a new movie series.
Limitless - 5/10
Source Code - 7/10
The Kings Speech - 9/10

M (1931) 11/10
Fritz Lang's serial killer thriller. Can't believe I hadn't seen it before, absolutely fucking brilliant.

Superheroes (HBO documentary) 6/10
Think a lot of it might have been down to the editing (and maybe watching it straight after 'M'), but this was really heart-warming stuff.

Source Code 6/10
Tolerable twilight zone chick flick with the least ugly Gyllenhaal.

Rise of the Planet of the Apes - 6 / 10

It was ok. Predictable and the first half kind of dragged on a little too long. Also, the love interest had no place in the movie as she didn't do anything in the entire film except go "explain to me what's going on" and "wow your monkey knows signs???"

I'd give it a 5/10, tops. It was entertaining, but way too predictable. I knew the twist and who the villain was almost immediately, glad I rented it.

Skyline - Such shit it doesn't deserve a rating. SPOILER ALERT: Apparently aliens have learned something from zombies, and well, they need brains. Lots of them. Utter garbage, do not waste your time.

Fright Night 2011 = 6/10 - Good acting performances from a decent cast but they're dealing with pretty shit material. This movie shouldn't have been remade.

I don't feel so bad now :)

IMDB

Yes, enjoyable 8/10

Cemetery Man - 7/10
Another take on the zombie genre, this time with Wupert Everwet and some Italian lass with phenomenally perky tits. It's like a good version of one of those arty farty Argento movies that everyone pretends to like that are actually really fucking boring and monotonous.

Sort of off-topic, but wanted to bump another thread over whatever Geoff thinks about while he's sitting on his thumb/being pegged by his wife. Someone's taken the time to figure out why the new Batman movies were great but sort of flat:

Apollo18 = 6.5/10 - I see people are falling for the marketing campaign, like they do with all "found footage" movies. Morons.
Anyways, a decent enough movie that never lags and keeps you watching until the end.

IMDB

Just got back from the movies, as you do and had to tell you about this. I do hope it is made available in your area of the globe :D

Two words, see it !

Look, I am just going to say it is the best overall movie I've seen in a long time.
I got emotional towards the end :tear: and that's nice in a movie these days.

Here is a quick read for you and a Wiki on the region

It is a bit hard to rate as I am still on a high, so 9/10.

Iron Man 2 - 6.5/10

Was actually pretty enjoyable despite what people were trying to lead me to believe.

Prince of Persia - 4/10
Lame. Dude didn't even look Persian.

Thor - 5/10
Movie basically went down like this:
"LETS KILL SOME ICE GIANTS"
Banishment.
"BROOOTTHEERRRRR"
One fight.
Almost everybody is happy. Obvious bad guy get's screwed.
