Retina display (2048 x 1536), quad-core processor, 5MP camera.

iPad 3 price same as the old one, with the 16GB iPad2 dropping to $399/529(3G).

Bitwise, $829 is for 64GB+4G.

Apple TV now does 1080p, new interface.

looks like it's not truly a retina display but close enough.
the eye can't see something smaller than 0.0035 at a foot's distance.

iphone4 = 0.0031 inches pixel size
ipad3 = 0.0038

but you do hold the iPad a bit farther, so it's win.

hm... this remembers me of one childhood discussion i had with a friend ~ his statement was: "35 fps are enough because that's what movies are filmed in"

what about these numbers: if a display was even sharper: would we be able to notice it?
