For someone like Dumbrain or Gwramps or Peenduh to straight up quit posting cold turkey. Do you think they felt like they lost part of their family? (no pun intended, Peenduh)

It's an internet forum and a pretty dead one at that. I'd genuinely be worried if any one of you couldn't stop posting on it tomorrow and never return to it.

In fact, the site died a few years back anyway, if only for a few months. I can't say I struggled, personally.

It's kind of weird when you think about it that there's this void on the internet where a group of people are just keeping it alive for no other purpose than to do so. Plus laugh at others.

I swear if I become a billionaire I'll fly everyone to one spot to meet for shits and giggles.

Be cynical as you will, but I truly enjoy reading all the nonsense you guys post. Every one here is a charicature of themselves and that makes this place great. Q3W certainly isn't dead.

I would be sad if Q3W died (as in the site actually stopped working). I mean, this community has been "hanging out" and taking shape for over 12 years.

Having said that, sure, life goes on without Q3W, but it has been a constant factor in my life for the past 11+ years.

I used to come here in search of people to destroy in Quake 3. I learned quickly this place is full of trolls.
