No I'm pretty sure it'll just keep going until you die... unless you put a small weight on your W key.

There are no edges to the map. Past 30,000 kilometers (yes, 30 million meters) the new terrain generated is not really there, it isn't solid. It continues though, which is why there is no edge.

When sprinting, you travel at ~5.6m/sec. So if your path was flat (you didn't have to climb mountains or swim across water), and you didn't have to eat food, traveling 30,000km would take about 1,488 hours I believe? That's 62 full 24 hour days of nonstop travel over perfectly smooth terrain.

Good luck with that.

is there an online universe that everyone connects to? could I theoretically walk from one persons project to another's without some kind of section loading interruption or what not, and keep going till I encounter everyone's crafty works? is everyone's doodles in the same universe?

No, but it would be neat if you could seamlessly mesh server worlds together.

Updated server to 1.2.

Currently broken mods:

Citizens (gives you guards and blacksmiths)
MonsterBox (lets you collect spawners)

Both are still active and should be updated soon.

Btw, bukkit is currently in a zombie state. See:

Another fun thing I did yesterday was update the map overviewer program. I was able to tell it to use the soartex texture pack... neat!

I also added a night mode and rotated view mode.

I like what you guys have done with the XP farm. Cheating, but very functional. ;p

Everything has changed a ton, I hardly recognize anything.
