Cant the frames be made to switch back and forth so fast, that the human eye cant see it change, thus making the image look static, and 3d? Or am I out to lunch on this?
.gif images can't be shown on the web with a framerate lower than 1/10th a second.

You could add frames to make it slower.

that's the most useful post you ever made, lawl. Nice

Except the fact you don't understand how letters in an acronym can have multiple meanings.

-SKID- wanted to know if the frames could go faster. I could have worded my reply a bit more accurately.

As an aside, you don't necessarily need to add frames to make it go slower, you can simply set a frame to last longer in whatever video editing software you use to make your gif.

i like it. has a nice effect on hand drawn stuff... not so much for computer generated graphics.

What's funny is it's probably way easier to make those hand-drawn things into semi-3D images. It looks like they used something akin to the Smudge tool to just stretch parts of the image one way or the other somewhat crudely.

yes I can tell by the pixels etc, but still, it brings hand drawings to life in a surreal way.

I bet a AAA full 3D animation using this surreal method would look cool as hell.
