If you know anything about psychology, you know that Mr.Zimmerman shows many traits of being a psychopath...or at the very least a sociopath. Regardless of the fact that his version of events keeps changing, the possibility (quite apparent I might add) that he's a nutter pretty much seals the deal for me.

I don't know what happened and that he's innocent until proven guilty in a court of law...but I think he's as guilty as O.J. Simpson....especially if Fox News is defending him.

There is merit to your statement, but I hope the dipshit offs himself and they rename the "Stand Your Ground" law the "Trayvon Martin" law. He's the one that stood his ground, in this case, and got shot by a cowboy asshole for it just because he was black.

Has the racist motive convincingly been established?
I know there's some debate about whether he indeed said "coon", but even if he did, that doesn't inherently mean the shooting was race related.
If it was a senior citizen, and he yelled "get down, oldtimer", the shooting wouldn't necessarily have something to do with age.
Although "coon" is more offensive than "oldtimer".
I don't know, maybe I'm just trying not to buy into the whole media hype.

Zimmerman should have been arrested and charged with either manslaughter or second degree murder a long time ago. It is clear by what you hear on those 911 tapes that this was a racially motivated murder. When the audio is amplified you can clearly hear him say coon and the 911 operator told him not to follow Treyvon. You can not willing pursue a "possible threat" and use deadly force. The "Stand your ground" law doesn't and should have never been applied to this case. That law has merit when applied correctly and could save the lives of the innocent that may otherwise be hesitant to act. As a CCW holder and responsible gun owner I hope this misapplication of the law does not bring about its repeal. Zimmerman acted like a hate filled cowboy. His actions were deplorable and he should pay to the fullest extent of the law.
