Add about 54 races to that (34 for moto2)

Are you talking about previous seasons? Because that really is a bit nonsensical. Not only has MotoGP had some great racing the past few seasons, we're also looking a new season with completely new bikes (1000cc vs 800cc) and a whole group of new riders. It really is too soon to judge this season by the previous 3 seasons.

You guys aren't even talking about the shit that's going down in Bahrain? Fuck this shit, if I was a driver I wouldn't race.

Zoidberg would say watching this race is bad, and you should feel bad.

Quick edit: http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-17796833 check that out, they already SHOT one guy protesting this race. How in the fuck do you justify holding a sanctioned event in a place like this it really is disgusting what people will do for money.

It will be interesting as I think as the track evolves overtaking will be attempted and the off line grip will be none existant.

Expect to see people cleaning the part of the track they think they have the best chance of overtaking on for a few laps before making a move...and then hopefully failing resulting in carnage :D

Wish Kimi could have gotten Vettel but a pretty good race anyway. Certainly better than last year so far.

DC leaving during the Forum because he left his purse and ipad somewhere is hilarious

You draw this conclusion from just a single race?

3 races in and it's held true for each one so far...motogp is a parade...snorefest

moto2 was a thriller again.

One more question: (pain meds induced) Are all motoGP races as boring as that one today? Moto2 & 3 kicked ass!!!

Nah you just need to ignore the top 3 spots. That's Stoner, Lorenzo and Pedrosa riding like they're queuing up in a traffic jam.
Gotta admit that yesterday's race was boring, but Jerez had some good moments. Haven't seen Qatar tbh.

Oh, and Edwards thinking it was boring is obvious: he wasn't there :olo:

2 things -

1. I own at predictions :D

2. we need a motogp thread, or we could start comparing gp2 / touring car / DTM or Usain Bolt to F1 aswell :D

That's what I read in your last post, but like tsakali said he just won. Leading the championship and 5 pts above his team mate even with the fuck up in Malaysia so...

All of your other predictions are wrong or spurious but it doesn't matter, what else are you predicting this season?

no shit sherlock

Think everything I said before may hold true but Vettel will probaly do a little better than I gave him credit for :P. I still expect Merc to drop down (fighting it out with Ferrari towards the end of the season) with Red Bull and Mclaren topping it, those 2 teams have always made a car better through the course of a season where Ferrari in recent years hasnt, same with Brawn tbh as great as he is. Still think Hamilton will win it, his last 2 races have been plagued by pitstops so god knows what the points table would say if they werent, best thing about it is that he kept his calm and didnt hit Massa during any of it :D

Uh, it's you that's the moron because it was Edwards who hit Simoncelli. Rossi could steer around him at the last moment.

Edwards hit him in the back, Rossi took off his helmet.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ShZFDnPTyVY

Watch the slow mo at the end, you can see Rossi's front wheel hop up when he hits Sic's helmet and it sets off his wicked tankslapper. Steer around him, he did not.

I don't really want to drag it out but if you still disagree there's still photos from the front that show this as well. I've already seen them once though, not really wanting to see them again.

Colin Edwards, now known as Valentino Rossi.

Seriously, I hadn't examined the crash in minute detail, the first time I saw it it looked pretty plain that it was Edwards that hit Simoncelli. I still don't think Rossi ran over his helmet, although I can see from the footage why you might think that. The link you just posted doesn't seem to prove it definitively, IMO.
