Ha, I'll have to take a look into that, ta for the help guys. Think I'll have the rc ready some time this week, heh first map I've sent to lvl... In ages.

Sigh... I really hate these "temp download sites"... was looking forward to testing the map... but the links are broken.

Sorry its in the lvlworld map queue... whee :)


fKD,
some comments about the map...
  • Could it be that for some reason your final vis compile did not work? When looking at the wireframe view (r_showtris) you can pretty much see all of the map all the time. The walls do not seem to block the view. This results in up to 24K in r_speeds. Some hint brushes might have helped. On my fast rig I did not notice a slowdown mind you (i7 920, ATi HD 5850).
  • The doors you added do not block vis either.
  • I really really love all the top part of your map vertical style. Alas, the two levels the player/bots play in are less so. I wish the player could play among the beautiful top parts of the map more. Pardon the bitching.
