i cleaned my old one every few months... but i'd built it myself, the case was easy to get into, and it had a big case fan running constantly that really sucked in dust. new one i haven't even opened since i got it 14 months ago.

only like once every 3 months or so... I wait till the fan starts being loud even on idle, and that's my cue to clean

i say, If you can't read the mobo's model, it's time to dust.

when it feel real hot at the back, is making a funny noise, and when bashing it with my fist overtop of the power supply area doesnt stop the annoying noise
