the galaxy s3?

Re: the galaxy s3?
so, due to a stroke of total coincidence I now own a S3. I'm no phone buff at all, I hardly care for them. that said;
its spiffy enough, responsive touchscreen (more so than the iphone, and leaps over the s2 or htc sensation).
I kinda get what geoff is saying about the pixels, iphones tend to have this all-encompassing anti-aliasing going on. which IMO is great for animations and such, but kinda sucks for static elemtens like UI or text. the S3 with its AMOLED screen doesnt have that. its better than the S2 which is indeed a bit pixelly.
Compared to the iphone4S, the screen is a bit sharper. not pixellated mind, just sharper. I prefer it over the over-antialiassed (and sometimes blurry) iphone screens

Re: the galaxy s3?
I don't notice any pixelation in my S2 screen, but congratulations on buying a real phone and not an overpriced toy for cultists

Galaxy S3 is among a growing list of Samsung models susceptible to remote wipe attack

It should be noted that this is a TouchWiz [Samsung UI layer] vulnerability, and serves as yet another example as to why the mountains of handset manufacturer and carrier garbage are such a bad idea.

"Display Resolution: 1280 x 720 pixels"
That's more than the resolution of my clunky CRT monitor (1024 x 768 which I thought was 'high resolution' back then). They squeezed that shit into a phone screen? Crazy.
