Oooh fancy! I wonder if the railings up that tower might look a bit more substantial if you gave them some solid supports like the wonky sections in the foreground have.

some screenshots of my "map the school" project. i got my a-levels in 2004 and started mapping at leats one year before that, so this map takes already more than 3 years.

some numbers:
brush count 7200
12288 * 12288 units wide
232mb of photos
one cadastral map cut out for the terrain

i need to hide the endings of the map with some kind of colin mc rae style mini-wood, but i need textures and simple tree models for that. anyone willing to help me or name me a good texture set is very welcome :)

That terrain screams alpha-blending badly. :P

that style is hot as fuck, indeed. hopefully those aren't the q3 statues up there because that would ruin it, imo.

Course they are, I don't know what other statues to use and I can't really model some myself... Really, it looks good.

[acid] I hope you put some "the flag room is this way" decals scattered around the walls/floors of your ctf map... I was very excited to try out warsow ctf but it is far too easy to get lost in wctf1 without any direction

then again, maybe I'm just not hard-core enough for warsow

wctf1 is a simple map layout wise but the architecture is rather irritating. play one or two ctfs pickups and you know the map. i'll consider your suggestion tho :)

I actually agree, those statues are so played out. The style looks awesome, though. What I would suggest is finding some other models you like and reskinning them in that texture. That would be awesome.

Isn't warsow like pretty much dead already. :( I seem to recall it had a few influxes of players here and there and then boom it died. ;s

acid, that looks tons better than the old Egyptian theme, which was pretty bad.
