Not sure I'm going to bother sending mine in for replacement, since the problem just looks like idiots not treating electrics with care. AC adapters like this ALWAYS get hot.
Then again, the replacement might extend the life of the product.

I've seen this kind of recall for XBox and Dell laptop power supplies too.
I think it's more risk-mitigation than actual worry about the product having problems. I'm sure if you left a PSU on a bundle of dry paper and kindling, you'd eventually have a house fire. But you can tell how hot they get just by touching them -- only an idiot would be leaving them on flammable substances for hours, turned on and unattended.
