Those pics do look good on the gamespot site. But again, very plastic like. Its not hard to tone down the specular.
But were back to that "new tech, lookit!" situation all games have. When they add something new and expensive in rendering, you dont hide it. You show it off on everything.
Its as easy as lowering contrast on a texture to make something shine less/more. So that would be easy to fix.
Cant wait until the next set of games come out for these consoles, then it will be more better toned.
I can't wait to shoot a bunch of cans only I can't because I can't see in front of my nose to shoot because I'm too busy looking at the top of my head.
However, it'd be really cool in this one if snake, instead of catching cold, got the clap and gave himself away by waddling around trying not to get discharge on his pants.
The quality is still not that great, but at least it's better and higher res than the shaky cam version. Gamespot reported that Konami has requested that the trailer not be posted anywhere else online (it's availabe on GameTrailers though), but I wonder if KIKIZO will give us an HD version later on...
Oh btw, there's a little surprise at the end that was not in the shaky cam version. I can't believe they actually put that in there :icon32:
