Dark themed space mining base in tones of gray/black and red. Multiple floors entangle themselves across 3 atriums and the layout can make for both a fast strategic game as was as some really great shots. Designed as a tourney map, it can still be played as a ffa with a few people. Well designed with excellent item placement.

A well lit map designed for some quick and smooth DM or FFA matches. Easy texturing with some nice new graphics still allow this level to be played on most low end systems. Finding the BFG is more then a chore, but the holder will rule this level in most Tourney matches. Bot play works good and they will use practically all of the map. Good level for about 5 players.

A wide open map that can be easy to dominate for the successfull and skilled players. Two main weapons are the RL and the RG. Armor shards spread throughout the map can prove to make the dominating player a bit frustrated. This map has good routes and the bots work well on hard skill settings. An excellent map for tourney play.

A rather strange twist in levels is provided to you care of RRROOOAAARRR. The Vadrigar find a strange alien artifact floating in the upper atmosphere of a giant gas planet and like any self respecting super race they say "SOD ARCHAEOLOGY" and decide to use it as a venue for the arena eternal. This map really gives you that eerie feeling and the fear that you'll fall constantly. Really cool too. Get this patch to play it.

One of the top notch tourney and FFA maps you'll find around. With custom textures and shaders adding to the overall genre of the map theme. Wide open yet nice and tight fitting leaving the players with plenty to spare. The weapons are sparce making this a great level leaving it up to the skilled and talented to play and own. Add this to your collection.

Metallic texturing and some tweaked bot play on the space map will prove challenging for many. The author has set up a nice setting of weaponry and armor providing for some fast retreats and chases. Shaders are used arbitrarily giving a nice addition to the visuals as well as a sweet skybox. The map almost feels like it's not a space map...until you fall into the void. The MG is strategically placed and isn't easy. Play for fun.

If you're looking for one top notch DM level then look no further then Discontent. This level has been put the the ringer and is a heap above most. Great texturing and some new custom graphics to turn your playing time into a pleasure. Excellent item placement and the bots are set just right for the Quake player in you. Best suited for at least 3 people, but 4 is better. Multi layer fragging at it's best. Stop here and stop often.
