About the guide
The worst aspect of Quake 3 is that it can be difficult for new people to get started. At first glance, it's a simplistic shooter, but in reality, it's an extremely skill based game that requires a variety of skills to be successful. The easy to play, hard to master gameplay is what makes q3 great, but when seasoned vets have been playing for years, it can also be considered a downside. This guide was created to de-mystify some of the tricks and gameplay elements to help flatten the learning curve.
