There should be more maps available. It is not a problem of choice, there is a huge collection of custom maps. I am sure that any mapper would be glad to donate his/her map to QL if asked by id. Thanks for the photoshop workaround, jal_! Works great, I didn´t knew it was that easy. Yes, I see what you mean with the diffuse maps. It´s not exactly shadows painted in like on a regular texture, but they are generally a bit too contrast heavy (with white higlights and so on). Needs some photosph...

I just noticed there unfortunately is a problem with PhilipK´s texture set: on the normal maps the z/y axis is reversed, so they don´t work how they are supposed to do in Doom3/Quake4 :tear:

Thanks guys! Hipshot, the one from PhilipK is an excellent texture set I haven´t seen anywhere before.

Yeah yeah I know they made some CTF maps for the Resurrection of Evil addon... that´s not what I was talking about. It´s a standard, dumbed down CTF mode in a commercial addon and not comparable to Q3 Threewave. :icon32:

I am a bit disappointed by Threewave because they totally abandoned modding for Doom3 /Quake4. It was a great time with Threewave CTF for Q3.
