Paging NCG Mike - please pick up the white courtesy phone!

Hi, I'm looking for NCG Mike to see if he minds that Only Mortal gets hosted through the Urban Terror forum. Since UrT went freeware with ioQ3 we've had quite an influx of mac gamers and they need a game browser. I use it myself with the modified ioUrbanTerror OS X client and it works perfectly. I'v...

Neither Only Mortal.

And it seems like 1.32c client can make 1.32b servers crash upon connecting. I've seen servers crashing left and right tonight when people connects.

ydnar posted a trick using a inverse shader and the actually texture also inverted which he called 'Inverse multiplicative shadows'. Thread is here - scroll down a bit - but since he lost control over shaderlab.com the images are missing:

Maybe that can help you

I don't know if it's the same on the PC version but Photoshop on OSX adds a lot of 'meta information' to the .tga file. I always re-save it with a app called Graphic Converter in which one has the option to leave out all that extra crap that PS spews into the file. The difference in file size is rea...

Hi NCG_Mike, How do I uninstall the altivec version of the game ? Do I simply drag all the Q3 folders to the trash, or is there a proper uninstall sequence that I need to go through ? Cheers, Just drag the application to the trash and use the non-altivec version instead. No need to trash the altive...

Odd, I never managed to reproduce this bug on the plain 1.32 version, only on the 1.32 Altivec (G4) version. I know you are a Q3 oldtimer Canis but have you tried trashing the .cfg and let the plain 1.32 build a new one?

Try make two brushes of them by splitting the textured surface diagonally to make triangles.

And next step would be going down to 1 unit grid.

As the minimum requirements as specified in Applications/Wolfenstein ET/Docs/Help/index.htm on your harddive says 32 mb vram or more you are out of luck I think.

Huh? I had pretty large collection of fonts (started back in OS 7 days) when I moved over to OSX Jaguar - a few of them will not open in Font Book, and most of those were behaving badly in OS9 as well. The rest just works fine for me, no conversion or anything - Font Book just installs them for me a...

Plus, Apple would lose ALL of their reputation for reliability if they were coding for the PC base. Doubt Apple would make a OSX that 'works' on any standard pc even if they switch to x86 procs - they would probably still rely on proprietary hardware just like now, ie; few specific models that they...
