Pillcity custom map...won't work
Im trying to join a server using the Pillcity map, but i can't get it to work. i've downloaded the 12.333mb version, and copied it to baseq3, im using 1.16n, and so is the server. i can see the map icon when i use the in-game browser, it will start to load, but then the player and weapon icons are s...

Dr. Watson's Point Release Switcher
This may seem *really* stupid to ask, but how do you actually use this?? if i extract all files, and use the ms-dos batch file to "pick my poison" as it says, if i select, for example, number 1, 1.16n, i then get an .exe icon in the Dr.Watson folder, but that wont launch the game as it won...

This may sound like a really silly question, but....does q3 have some collision detection problems? reason im asking is, im using 1.16n, but want to move to 1.32. before i do, i want to know if my game half-decent or not. troible is, with 1.16n, i think a lot of my shots should frag or at least dama...

ok, im running XP home on a p4 3.06g cpu, with 784mb RAM and nVidia GeForce Go440 64m. ive just had my hdd upgraded to 80gb from 60gb, and ram upgraded to 784 from 512, and had a full system reload.
