but i heared people trying to run q3 on a debian system had it too... don't know what to do anyway :(

what i did was... unsipped an old pc installation of mine wich i had previously burned on a cd, and applied patch 1.32 for os x... works perfectly, exept the sound issue i mentioned in a topic nearby...

Hello there, i just installed quake 3 1.32 on my system, but i'm having this nasty sound problem... the separate sound effects seem to be like playing too fast, and you hear sometning gibberish like form some animation movie or sort of... i changed my pak0.pak3 fail with one from a original quake 3 ...
