You should try to look in your system configuration in control panel or look in BIOS at startup. If it restarts then....i dont know

I've had the same problem but when I installed the 1.32 patch for quake 3. I had to reinstall quake then install 1.32 patch right away.

I am having problems with quake and I was wondering if you have the same problems. Last night I started quake and it did nothing. So I went to the quake folder and the Quake3.exe was gone! I am posting here because I was wondering if you have the same problems.
