Can not connect on local LAN

I have an SBC connection that came with a 2WIRE router. This worked beofer I had this router, when I just had a Linksys but now it does not work. I know what you are thinking, "It must be the 2WIRE" but I have called SBC tech support and we have opened up the router to communicate will all...

I do have these ports on both but I am not sure how to hook this up. What will I need to do/have? (Harwdare and set up)

I am pretty computer savy but when it comes to networking I am pretty much green.

XP Firewall is off on both. There are no other games to test over the network. This is just a small two computer network. Both games are version 1.32. Before we moved we had Comcast cabla and I had a Linksys Router and it worked fine. Just leads me to belive that it is something to do with the route...

Local connection problem

I am using a 2wire modem with built in wireless router (SBC issued) and I have a lap top with Q3A and a PC that is ocnnected to the 2wire modem. I set up the game on the laptop, I go to the PC and I see the game on the Local server list (there is only one to choose fromof course) and I select FIGHT....
