I wonder if it would be possible to make a simple mod that merely changes the maplist and nothing else. e.g. CPMA's maplist can hold an infinite number of maps. So would it be possible to take that sort of maplist and just slap it in vanilla Q3?

The title says it. I have a truckload of maps for Q3A but not all of them show up in the maplist. I made sure all of the .pk3 files have a ".arena" file with the necessary information, however I still have to load most of the maps from the console which is annoying. Also, many of the maps ...
