What exactly did you use the z-axis window for? I've never had a use for it, and I've found (along with a bunch of other mappers) that ctrl + tabbing between axial views is the best way to work. I agree with wviperw, i've always mapped like this and i think it's a great gain of time to have the who...

good job moses :)

i enjoyed the way you textured the map and the volumes you made, very interresting.
But it's a little too boxy for me, i mean spaces inside rooms and outside are not big enough to fight properly but the general theme of the map is preety cool.

C'mon, start a new map now !! ;)

the compile settings are : q3map2.exe -meta - vis -light -super2 -patchmeta -skyfix "mymap.map" q3map2.exe -convert "mymap.bsp" i made a bat file like hipshot explained and i put my compile settings from radiant + the skyfix option for the sky. EDIT : sorry wattro i don't underst...

ok hipshot... Where is the q3map2 folder ?? Sorry but, this technic part of compilation is really unknown for me at this time, but it's time to learn :-) EDIT : tried to put fog in the bottom of the map, does'nt work with the skybox shader, i'm making some tests to find a solution. thanks wattro :-)...

thanks obs for informations, i'll read the thread about skyboxes 'cause it's not clear for me. But, what program do you use for making the aas file ? i use q3build, i don't know any other way to. I do compile my maps in gtk with "(simulate old style -light -extra) BSP -meta - vis -light -super2...
