I made a mess posting, sorry... I can run q4(after installing the patch) but not the editor or the gtkradian(it doesn't propose q4 in the gamelist) The above turns off full screen mode (the editor needs to be run in window mode), corrects Q4's default brightness from 1.2 to the normal desktop bright...

it asks me for a project file...but I never load it yet so I don't have a project

too much time has passed since the last time I try to map

Is it possible to use gtkradiant without having any game installed?

I'm just curious on what game will you begin mapping for...after you finish your current project.

I saw beautiful maps here and I wanted to do mapping again...but it seems that all the hours spent learning how to do things are gone lol. I don't remember anything about mapping and unfortunately I don't have now the free time I had ...

does q3 mapping still require a lot of compiling time?
I left mapping many years ago but now I'd like to restart something...I enjoyed q4 mapping becouse there was no compiling time
I suppose that I have to go back to make maps for q3l
