I did manage to get a download of the drivers from dell.

It's a SigmaTel Audio version 5.10.5067.0

oh, and I just got the latest drivers, but they dont seem to help at all.

What is PR 1.32c?

I will try messing with those commands and see if that helps.

EDIT: the commands dont seem to help at all. I cant update the drivers for my soundcard as they are system onboard, and the manufacturer does not offer drivers.

Quake 3 Arena Audio issue

Hey, Whenever I try to run Quake III Arena, the sound is out of sync with the game, for instance when I fire a weapon, it takes about 3 seconds for the gunshot to play. Even in the menu, when I click a button, it takes a few seconds to play. Any ideas on what this could be?
