Re: Is world war 3 happening or not?
Posit. Ask questions and make arguments. It feels like everyone is being led down a rosy path off a cliff. I just watched a bunch of videos of people getting eaten by sharks. You're calling me dumb but guess what I'm not going to do? Jump off of a cruise ship in the middle of the night. I feel real...

Oh I defo had that little blue technic car as well - https://brickset.com/sets/1972-1/Go-Kart (1972 is the set number, it was actually released in 1985 according to Bricklink) On the subject of classic Technic, I had this set as a kid and it was the absolute business: https://img.bricklink.com/ItemI...

What We Do in the Shadows, series currently on disney+
Hitting all the right spots at the moment, dry humour, sometimes ridiculous. I'm a sucker for anything with Matt Berry in it.
It's based off a movie of the same name (Taika Waititi and Jemaine Clement)

Re: World Cup Thread
I'm not super outraged, but I don't agree with it all.
The main thnig for me is that there is WAY too much else to focus on in December with christmas, kids school stuff etc.
World cups, olympics etc are always much more interesting when there's nothing else really going on.

Re: What is new in your little world?
Yeah that's not on! Occasionally you can luck out though, as our online shop will (sometimes) give you an alternative at no extra cost. eg. getting the 500g of "Finest" strawberries as the 125g punnet was out of stock! Depends on which teenager is packing your shopping this week though... ...

Re: The last movie you saw
Yes, this is exactly the issue I have with the recent Bonds, particularly after re-watching some of the old ones where it isn't the all-encompassing "big bad puppetmaster" storyline. Even the classic spectre/blofeld movies still just mainly treated it as an unresolved event in the end. Muc...

Re: no coronavirus thread ?
Aye, I'm in the same boat as seremtan I think - personally continuing the hygiene/sanitisation part of it, but mask usage seems to be almost entirely gone. If I was going to be on public transport or somewhere particularly crowded I think I'd be using one though. Even in a fully post-covid situation...
