The only thing I noticed was that the author had put two maps in one .arena file. Don't know if this matters. I just did some testing, and it really doesn't matter if the arena is dropped or not. The screwed Shaders are definitely not missing textures. If I remove all shaders in the pack minus the one skin that is screwed, the shader starts working fine again, so it's definitely a conflict. That sounds similar to my setup, minus the config files. I also combine all my skins/maps into packs, and swap them in and out using Batch files. It seems that these days, there are very few skin archives for Quake3 out there. There are a number of skins I can't find that I used to have. If I were still in my high school/college days with hours of spare time on my hands, I most certainly would (and did such things back then). But now, I just leave that up to the people who have the time I used to have. Apparently, those people aren't around for Quake3.

UI Enhanced increases the limites, but does not get rid of them. Besides, I've been using UI Enhanced for years. It was last updated in 2002.
