That, and the numbers have dropped off considerably in the last few months. The lowest they've been for around 3 years.

I don't know about all that other shit, but Covid seems to be fading away. I don't even hear anyone talking about it anymore.

Re: JWST images

EDIT: Just for clarification, our very own Sun is 8 light minutes away from us. I could use a regular metric unit that's usually used when talking about distance of Sun from Earth, but I wanted to emphasize that it actually takes full 8 minutes for light from Sun to reach Earth (bear in mind that l...

Re: What is new in your little world?

Damn, that's a beautiful guitar! Thanks, I thought so too. Couldn't pass it up. Bought it from the same guy that I got the red Phil Demmel King V from. Normally I'll adjust the truss rod, action, intonation, and all that when I get one. All this one got was a string change, wipe down, fretboar...

Re: What is new in your little world?

Pretty standard fare compared to some of the crazy body shapes you've got there Scourge, but I love 'em to bits: Nothing wrong with either one of those. I just happen to be a sucker for Ibanez and pointy stuff. :D Just almost picked up a Jackson Kelly last week. Kinda regret not doing it now. Also ...

Re: What is new in your little world?

I've acquired a Dean Dime Razorback since I posted those. I may need an intervention. Ohhh... Nice! The one with the razorblade 12th fret? Lightning/black/rust graphics? It's on my "covet but can't justify any more guitars" list along with the Washburn Paul stanley PS2000 :P Yes, in matte...

Re: What is new in your little world?

BTW Scourge, awesome guitars, and I'm jealous of your skills with modding them. Thanks, but I don't know about 'skill'. :olo: That remains to be seen, learning as I go. But I did figure out that I like working on them almost as much as playing them. I also wouldn't consider myself a great guitarist...

It's supposed to get down to 14 here in Abilene. In this area, we didn't really have problems until it got down closer to 0 last time. We've already had a couple of 15-16 degree nights lately with no issues that I've heard about. Out West in the Permian Basin as it states may have problems. They're ...

Are those Floyde Roses on the first ones?
Yes. All of my guitars have Floyd Rose bridges except for the 2 Ibanez S470s I have. Those have ZR1s. I know a lot of people say they are a pain in the ass to deal with, but they're really not that bad once you know how to work them.

Re: What is new in your little world?

I got the blue Ibanez to replace the silverburst I posted before. It developed several cracks in the body and I deemed it not worth the effort to fix them all. Apparently it had been dropped before I owned it. It is now a paperweight. On the bright side, the blue one is brand new from Sweetwater.

Re: What is new in your little world?

Recent additions. Yes, playing around with waterslide decals on the white King V. The red Jackson V is a Phil Demmel Demmelition V. The blue Ibanez is a regular RG450DX and the white is a standard Jackson King V. The one on the table is an Ibanez S470DX project I'm currently painting and rebuilding....

Where's the huge Texas increase from the mask mandate? Non existent. Ever so slight increase that would have nothing to do with Spring Break or anything.

Re: no coronavirus thread ?

The world has for the most part seen a decline in numbers. Realistically, this is never going to go away. It will become another disease that we just have to deal with. This still doesn't even come close to the deaths or infections from the Spanish Flu in the early 1900s.
