Teleporters losing their "dancing vision" picture

Since some weeks ago, I'm experiencing a weird problem with teleporters. Normally, if you stand in front of some teleporter, you can see what's on "the other side". The teleporter is showing a nice dancing image of what is going on. Well, now I have a black opaque spot in place of this. Wh...

Some Quake commands

I try to solve some problems I'm experiencing with Quake on my system, so I'm inspecting all my config file. What are the commands below doing ? sv_punkbuster cl_punkbuster in_disableOSMouseScaling Also, my new Apple optical mouse doesn't rotate very well. Very often, I feel it "locked" or...

Hey ! Thanks for the reply ! :-) I tried your settings. Apparently, it's working for the height of 1050, but not for the width of 1680 (which is really the size of the 20" LCD). I get about 1280 width (approximately). Of course, I inspected the r_customwidth in all the config file. There's only...

Quake3 max screen resolution on G5

I just got my dual G5 today, with OS X Tiger and ATI 850XT video card. Running Apple's 20" LCD monitor (1680 X 1050 at natural resolution). I'm trying to get the higher screen resolution mode for Quake, but apparently I can only select 1024 X 768, all other options sends me to low 640 X 480 or ...
