Dead Hook (Quest 2) gameplay
This game is a lot of fun, reminds me of Doom with a Q3 Grapple mod. It looks crazy in my gameplay video, but the grapples are pretty intuitive. You can swing like Spiderman, use both to boost and grapple flashing enemies to execute them. The game's fast motion and flying does not bug me, but I do p...

Re: Quake 3 in VR
Hello Giraffe man! I see your youtube channel is doing pretty good. When I get my Q2 out of storage in a few months I'm looking forward to giving this a whirl. It looks like a sure-fire vomit comet of motion sickness   If it's given you a hankering for the real thing we play on Duff's...

Quake 3 in VR
What's up, it's been a while! Someone forwarded me the port of Q3 into VR this morning. I was playing for a while today and man it brought back memories. This footage is from my Quest 2 about 10 minutes after installing. It's actually a really awesome port into VR, the gameplay is clean, very short ...

Re: What is new in your little world?
The STI has a similar presence in the aftermarket world, so many parts and options available. I almost picked up a beautiful WRX STI many years ago, but I walked away due to the sales guy being a dick. I can't imagine where my hobby would be today if I Got an STI vs the challenger... I added a non s...

Re: What is new in your little world?
Installed Q3 Arena on my Kids PCs (Age 8 and 13) and we started having death matches with a few other extended family members. Game skills came back quickly and also found my 8 year old has some insane rail gun skills. I haven't been here in a long time so I figured I would catch up and say what's up?

Re: So, what games are you playing now?
Population: One I picked up the Oculus Quest 2 around Christmas and it was fun to play Random games. Then I picked up Population: One and I got hooked. I've been playing a few hours nightly with the same squad for the last few months and I'm hooked. The Devs make changes to the game often, almost w...

Re: What is new in your little world?
Made the decision to upgrade my 2015 Challenger Scat Pack to a 2018 Wide Body Hellcat. Currently stripping 4 years of mods restoring the car back to stock and starting over. Considering I just finished the car a few months ago starting over is going to suck, but I felt it was necessary. After lookin...

Re: What is new in your little world?
I always wanted to lower my car about 1.5", but it's already scraping on driveways and entrances to lots. So the last few weeks I've been working on installing Air suspension giving me 6-7" of travel from frame on the ground to above stock height. it's been a good learning experience on ho...

Re: What is new in your little world?
Thanks Whiskey. We saw the apartment this morning and loved it. We didn't throw money down yet or anything, but it isn't currently being advertised, and we got the word of the manager that we can have it. We just have to pay the ~250 to balance out the damage deposit with the bigger place, and we'l...

gotta love states that require a front plate :dts: Have you see those retractable license plates you can buy? Re: What is new in your little world?
Almost Finished wrapping my car, 2 tone Black on top Gloss Dark Gray sides. I'm glad I did and love how it turned out,but I probably won't be that again :owned: Most panels took between 3 and 5 hours to surface prep, disassemble and wrap. Except for the front bumper, that was a very long process. [l...

Re: What is new in your little world?
Made some more progress on my wrap. The rear bumper was a pain in the ass about 5 hours prep and wrap. There was also a lot of planning prior on how to cut my lines where it meets with the trim under the tail lights and also I decided to do an inlay in the license plate area to prevent failure due t...

Re: What is new in your little world?
My son has figured out how to grab both his feet yesterday*, and is now struggling to perform his next feat: putting said feet in his mouth at the same time (possibly for close up analysis). *This after a day of experiments with one foot, where careful study of grasped bodily extremity was conducte...
