There is a good alternative Game Scanner - Monster Browser. All rights settings in *. ini file in the program. Including the master servers.

dansh, there is a problem with the binary you compiled.

When I try to connect to certain servers I get an error that says "GAMEMISMATCH: THIS IS A QUAKEARENA-1 SERVER". So supposedly that means it's incompatible with certain servers. This doesn't happen with the binary I made though.

Probably doesn't work for PB. Most active Q3 servers don't use PB anymore anyway.

Been playing since the demo came out and aside from short period of using the all seing eye I have always used the ingame browser, if it goes it will be a major letdown. And I couldnt retrieve the server list for few days now...noticable drop in player numbers on favourite servers.

There is a possible chance that the server is being hacked. As a Botnet has been attacking servers world wide on the Q3A ports, all mods and all games relating to Q3A.

What ever happened to server lists? This is the first CoD game I've played online on the PC and I don't remember seeing server lists to choose from. Could be hard to find dedicated servers without that, no?

I have the same problem. For me, this problem go out after 2-3 weeks... When it occur, I play on servers which are in why favorite servers, like "massacre freezer"...

The website FragLove which dghost pointed out has several French servers, so if you can get a game going there you'll have a much lower ping, most likely. You can also download QTracker (http://www.qtracker.com/) ...

What was that -Server uses protocol version 68-what it means .I can play only in Massacre Servers and Assyrian Freedom Force .

When trying to connect, it doesn't even try. It immediately says "Unable to resolve server"

Other IRC servers work fine, such as irc.enterthegame.com for example.

Is it just me?
