Agreed, that can either make or break the game. There is a mod that removes the weak ammo but it seems the main community for Warsow is very against it. Not sure why they are so paranoid about mods that tweak gameplay. :paranoid:

Ouch. If you bring up mods for the Warsow community people act downright paranoid. My only beef with that game is the weak/strong ammo system, it truly does slow the game to a crawl at times.

Well, I don't like baseq3 all that much, and warsow is even worse than that. It's just too fast-paced. Larger maps and more contrast in the textures might help, but not enough.

Fuck HL2. I'm not interested in Singleplayer nor am I interested in non-Arena deathmatch.

Arena Deathmatch limits me pretty much to UT, Painkiller (HUGELOL), Quake 3, 4 and Warsow.

Compressed TGAs still cause a problem for Warsow, but they seem to work OK in Q3. The size difference is appreciable, too.
