Yes, dm3 for Quake. One of the coolest tdm maps maps around.

In fact, while the subject's up, check out Swelt's remake for Promode.

Download the latest (very possibly the final) version here.

CoD:UO ran as well as CoD. Better, if anything. I found Brecourt a bit slow in places, but otherwise FPS was fine. Infinity Ward made heavy use of worldspawn fog to cull distant polys on big maps though. Helps.

Something just occured to me: there have been a few CSS maps made based on the mapper's school. CSS maps have terrorists in them of course. So how long will it be before they're arrested for "terrorist threatening" too?

There has been many bug fixes regarding to the SP map support and should be added to the upcoming 0.3 release.

Agreed. But the stuff shown in the E3 presentation (all single player stuff) didn't look this bland and quite impressive actually.

From what I can see, it looks like a whole bunch of the latest effects, and a real big texture resolution for everything..... then absolutely no Tri Count for the level itself.

So basically, the game looks like some of the worlds fanciest looking....box maps.

Am I wrong?

No, it doesnt have split screen, but since you can play through system link, xbconnect will work.

Open coop is probably better for the normal id maps. cinimatics work, but a few of the maps still dont work. I guess they have to alter them. http://opencoop.doom3maps.org/

info she wanted to know about her server and the maps when we
were on raw's forum. Came in damn handy ;)

Yes. Good Times!

We played the maps with other humans, but when it came time to rank the maps, I based my votes on the gameplay generated by the default load of bots in the arena files, so a huge map with an arena file that spawns in 1 bot would get a low score from me.
