Oh maybe the intro is handled seperately, from your config.
Well it stops the :id: logo from playing, that's for sure.

That's some oldskool hardware. You'll probably need to hack your xorg.conf a little for this to get it to work. You might want to give this example config a try: http://ubuntuforums.org/showpost.php?p= ... ostcount=9

lol u can edit the config file to show 10 bars instead of 4. each bar represents 20 ping or something like that. i wonder why iw didn't set it up like that?...lol?...

Off topic: Whee, I finally did my first circle-jump... the mistake I seem to have been making was that I hit the jump key and kept holding it (RMB = Jump in my config). This seems to mess up the the circle-jump. Thanks for the demos.

There are other options such as edged lines as seen in photoshop cheap filters.

I read Macintosh could do this(grayscale) by default.

Quick check: move everything from your baseq3 folder that isn't pak[0-8].pk3 to somewhere else, config files included, and see if the problem persists. This sounds like a resource from a custom PK3 conflicting with a stock resource or possibly a misconfiguration.

Dunno, are you sure the cvar even exists in baseq3? Maybe you'll set it in your config and hence it will be recognized in the console later on.

select the right configuration for the project (probably on a toolbar, or change via set active configuration). If you build q3_ui, you do not want a TA config. you need the TA config for building ui (the missionpack, aka TA, version of the ui)
