Something we actually agree on. And if you're faking liking beer then you're a dumbass on top of it.

Can't beat a good pint of Guinness, it's just a pain finding a good pint...

By good, you mean the way it's poured and prepared?

no, as in tastes right. lots of pubs either don't sell enough to keep the lines running clean or don't look after the barrels.

it's also true you can't beat a pint in Dublin, it doesn't travel well. Weirdly I've been told by a few people the Guinness in Africa is the best. The stuff i tried in Japan was rank.

many ups

Saying "I don't like beer" if all you've had is a pint of Tennents (or local equivalent) is like saying "I don't like TV shows" if all you've seen on the box is Extreme Hoarders

So many different beers/ales/stouts/porter/blondes/lager.. tis the whole point of this thread!

I'm not a fan of Guinness, but I've also never had it from a pub in Dublin. I'll save final judgement until then...

Deschutes River Ale. Nice session ale. Not too heavy or stout. Good for a hot summer day.

Hardly. Bugs with new OS as usual. Didn't say I was ditching it or couldn't deal with it. But it is a problem with 10, or here. Click on the image and it displays correctly.

i bought a 40 of country club from the discount liquor store. guy asked for $2 cash and didn't ring it not really uncommon for that part of town though*. when i got home i noticed the cap was covered in black sharpie ink or something. drank it and went back a few mins later for another one cause the first one left with me a hankering to go get dip so i figured id get another while there you know. get the last one, noticed it has ink all over the cap too, and take it to the register. different guy at the counter is totally confused, tells me they don't sell that he doesn't know where it came from and throws it in the trash.

mystery beer in my belly...

*same parking lot ~6 months ago some guy approached me while i was in my car and asked if i was there for the switch and before i could even respond he started getting into the backseat of my car.....like not forcefully or in a hurry just like totally normal lol. he disappeared into the night somehow without even running like a super cool movie villain who probably wears shades at night and you could put a weird industrial hip hop mashup track over a slowmo montage of his life with lots of camera zooms on abstract objects under a red filter and it totally fits after i yelled at him. i drive a baby blue toyota avalon....im 99% sure he was a vampire guys. wow close one

Originating as a cask-only version of our Tankhouse Ale, Tankenstein is a dry-hopped IPA with full body and matching bitterness. It is a perfectly balanced ale with caramel and biscuit malts complementing the dryness of US grown bittering hops but with a massive over-lay of American Cascade hops being added to the tank during ageing to “dry-hop” the beer and give it a wonderful perfumey character. Grapefruit and piney resinous tones are the main contribution of the Cascades and make this a truly classic American-style IPA. It’s ALIVE!!!!!!

^ So I just tried this. Very balanced and smooth for 7.5%. Not nearly as hoppy as I expected from the description.
